The tour operator was simple to find, and once it was time for our scheduled priority entrance, we waited about 10 minutes instead of standing in the much longer general line, which easily looked like an hour or more. As advertised, we were able to skip ahead and get inside quickly, which made the experience much smoother. Seeing the Accademia’s incredible artwork—especially Michelangelo’s David—was truly memorable. That said, next time we visit Florence, we would likely choose a private guide.
