The worst part, though, after getting back almost 2 hours after our scheduled time, was when the driver informed us that he couldn’t deliver us to our cruise ship (despite that being promised on our tickets) because his bus was too big. “We went on a day of flash flooding which was no fault of the tour company. We stayed on the bus for the whole tour round twice one after the other The driver was very good and coped with the flooded roads without panicking. he reversed the bus when the road was flooded to get through with ease and calm. We would like to go back to Livorno and do the bus tour again as it looked so nice down by the sea front and go on the funicular railway hopefully without the rain.”
