“This was a great day trip from Rome to Pompeii, the Amalfi Coast, and Positano. Our guide, Flavio, was incredibly personable and knowledgeable, and our driver, Julius, was excellent. Flavio also shared helpful tips on other places to visit and offered useful safety recommendations. Both Flavio and Julius were very organized and kept the tour on schedule. The tour included a few unnecessary stops (such as the limoncello factory), and there was a bit too much time spent on the bus. That said, both the guide and driver did an outstanding job overall. “We had high expectations for this tour as it was costly and we had great experience with viator tours in the past. Unfortunately, this tour was quite dissapointing. First of all, it promised hotel pick up and drop off, and neither were delivered. We started the tour by learning 5 mins before pick up that we had to go to a pick up lcation. We got on the bus at 9:40 and the Pompeii tour started at 11:30 due to total chaos at the Pompeii tour booth.
